01

Acceptance

These Terms apply when you download or use Bloom Client, visit bloomclient.org, create a Bloom account, or use a Bloom-hosted feature. By doing so, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the affected service.

If you use Bloom for another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

02

Accounts

Bloom website accounts use Google or GitHub for sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to your provider account, protecting your devices, reviewing active sessions, and keeping your profile information accurate. Do not share sessions, impersonate another person, or use an account you are not authorized to access.

You must meet the minimum age and account requirements of the sign-in provider and any third-party service you use. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission.

03

Software license

Bloom Client's source code is distributed under the MIT License included with the project repository. That license governs your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the open-source software. These Terms separately govern Bloom-hosted accounts, websites, APIs, branding, and services.

The Bloom Client name, flower logo, site design, and project branding are not granted for misleading endorsement, impersonation, or use that suggests an unofficial build is an official Bloom release.

04

Acceptable use

You may not use Bloom or its services to:

  • Break applicable law or violate another person's rights.
  • Access accounts, systems, data, or features without authorization.
  • Distribute malware, steal credentials, evade security controls, or interfere with service operation.
  • Abuse automated requests, bypass rate limits, probe private infrastructure, or overload the service.
  • Upload or share unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • Use shared-pack, cosmetics, support, or community features to harass people or distribute prohibited material.
  • Misrepresent an unofficial build, service, or account as operated or endorsed by Bloom.
05

Third-party services and content

Bloom can connect to Google, GitHub, Microsoft, Mojang, Minecraft services, Modrinth, Discord, and other third-party services. Their terms, privacy policies, availability, and account rules also apply. Bloom does not control those services and is not responsible for changes, outages, removals, or decisions made by them.

You are responsible for owning or being authorized to use Minecraft and any mods, resource packs, shaders, cosmetics, or other content you install or share. Review project licenses and server rules before use.

Bloom Client is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft, Mojang Studios, Google, GitHub, or Modrinth. Minecraft is a trademark of Microsoft and its affiliates.

06

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. When you intentionally upload or publish content through a Bloom-hosted feature, you give Bloom a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, reproduce, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, and maintain the feature.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content. You can stop future delivery by deleting the relevant content or account where that control is available, subject to reasonable backup and security retention.

07

Availability and updates

Bloom is under active development. Features, data formats, supported Minecraft versions, provider integrations, and server-backed services may change. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued access.

Bloom may change, pause, or discontinue a feature, and does not promise uninterrupted availability. Reasonable care will be taken to avoid unnecessary data loss, but you should keep backups of important instances, worlds, screenshots, and custom content.

08

Suspension and account deletion

You may sign out or delete your Bloom account from the dashboard. Bloom may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, respond to abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. When practical, Bloom will use the narrowest action that addresses the problem.

Sections that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, license limits, disclaimers, and responsibility for prior conduct—remain effective after access ends.

09

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bloom Client and its hosted services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bloom's operator and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost worlds, files, profits, credentials, or data arising from use of Bloom. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as Bloom changes. Material revisions will be published here with an updated effective date. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not accept a revision, stop using the affected service and delete your account.
